So often I don't take the time to explore and investigate materials and methods that are new to me. One of the fundamentals of the learning process is to explore and "play" with ideas and supplies before jumping into a project. You do this so well, Rhonda, and it's a crucial step that I haven't disciplined myself to do.Carol Flatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13280091225563623507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-28025508792846024252014-10-24T09:59:19.408-04:002014-10-24T09:59:19.408-04:00Deb, thanks, I do like all blues and I guess it sh...Deb, thanks, I do like all blues and I guess it shows!! ha ha

Laura, I think more patience will be needed to do more on the leaves and berries - not sure I have it but maybe if I work on it while working on something else at the same time - takes the pressure off.

Gary, yes, there is no indication of size - just water. I almost want to compare what you're doing with your watercolors here to the same type of creating that goes on in encaustic art? I love both types of artwork, and no very little about either... hopefully, the more I read your posts, the more I will understand how it's done and what kind of effects are possible. I'm already thinking mixed media.... colored pencil with poured painting... ?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05600673251180423439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-10451539727988249122014-10-23T09:31:25.933-04:002014-10-23T09:31:25.933-04:00Dear Rhonda - You have certainly captured the swee...Dear Rhonda - You have certainly captured the sweet personality in the dolphins because to me they always look like they are smiling and I can see that is the way you have painted them.
