JUG AND FRUIT

Began with the background, very wet and letting the colors flow.

Dropped in some more color in the background "cloth" and then made blossoms for texture by dropping in clean water when it was drying.

Painted the jug and fruit wet-in-wet, leaving some whites on the fruit.

The background itself is a work of art, Rhonda - just gorgeous! Great painting!

You are so prolific! I come to visit and there is so much to catch up on :o) The way the colours flow and that strong diagonal (with a green echo) grounding everything makes the composition so strong to my eyes. Love this it's very exciting.

Thanks, Chris, Jennifer and Lisa :). Lisa, I use work in spurts, never every day, and these are small so just trying out more of the Ewa Karpinska things in her book - changing a few things as I go but learning :).
