A NEW CROW FOR THE NEW YEAR

Painted on Arches 140# hotpress paper (a block I am using right now).

What's better than a curious crow to start off the new year?

Curious as to what will unfold in our world of art this year. Nice one, Rhonda!!

I like your painting. I like crows. There are thousands of crows that gather around a lake near where I live. They roost around the lake and some just congregate there for awhile before they leave to go to their roost. It is an awesome sight. This only happens during winter. Cheers and Happy New Year.

Yes, another year, but more painting!! ha ha We'll see what comes of this year, creatively. Right now, I'd just like to thaw out a bit from these frozen days. Instead of making me go to my little art room and create, it makes me just want to stay in bed!

Lisa, thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment. I just visited the posts of your garden - so beautifu! I am envious of anyone with a green thumb and the patience to have a lovely garden spot and, of course, I envy you your crows!!

Great painting, I love crows they have such character and are smart birds too. Also I have never drawn a crow. I have drawn a woodpidgeon and robins.
