BEES

Drawing bees (on tracing paper) to add to the honeycomb background...will figure out how to best place them over the honeycomb and trace them onto the painting, then paint them.  A work in progress that is progressing slowly.

But in the meantime, I am working on some single flower paintings on dark backgrounds.

Good work, Rhonda! Go, go! You have to tell Jerry, "Bee my babee." Cheers, wink, wink, Sadami

Great bees I do the same thing - use tracing paper. It's a great way to figure out where best to put the subject. This piece is really getting me excited!

good idea adding the bees that way, better to know where they will fit the best before starting on them

Thanks, Sadami, Debbie, Elizabeth, Barbra Joan! Thanks, Jennifer Rose, turns out I couldn't transfer them to the painting = didn't come through so I just had to redraw them. But the tracing paper drawings helped me place them.
Thanks, Carol :)
