ON THE WINDOWSILL

Begonia blooming out after cutting it down to the soil in the pot this winter.  Why are they so leggy?  When this was in full bloom it was scraggly and leggy and blooms were falling all over the table and floor around it.  But right now it's pretty so I'll see what happens - it may need a bigger pot?  Or supports?  Or...I don't know, I don't have a green thumb at all!

Happy April!

what are you feeding it? put in a better light source? looks like it is growing up to get more light. too much nitrogen in the fertilizer? light is probably the main problem tho :) I don't have a green thumb, but hubby does ok with plants :)

Jennifer Rose, I am not feeding it anything - just watering it and not regular with that (or maybe too much water). It's in a pot and I think I may try to plant it outside after it warms here...guess it needs more light? I put it in the window and hope it gets more that way - I can't leave it out in the sunroom yet because we are still have cold nights.
