ABSTRACT PAINTING REVISED

The colors began too garish, too much.  So I wanted to tone things down, leaving a little pop of red but not so overpowering.  Still not sure, but I do think it's better.  It's closer to the original in my sketchbook.

On half sheet Arches (15 x 22 inches)
painted with fluid acrylics.

It does not look so garish here. Any way there are endless possibilities in abstract. Carry on experimenting. Enjoy yourself.

Thanks, Asit. The trick is to enjoy and still create something interesting :)

Love the way this turned out Rhonda. Just the right amount of red to make this painting catch the eye.

Glad you enjoyed the final version, Debbie.

Lovely flowing movement and I really like the palette that you chose for it.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Best wishes.

Thanks, Lisa. I like it now, too :) But abstracts are definitely a work in progress for me...something I may dip my toe into once in a while but never going to be my genre! Have a wonderful weekend.
