SEEING SHAPES IN THE CLOUDS

When I look at this photo of clouds, I see a woman reclining on her side, her hand up behind her head.

Perhaps she's posing for a life sketching group?

Do you see it?

Happy September!

Hi Rhonda,
I do! I do! Funny you should post clouds. Currently on my easel is a 22 x 28-inch canvas with the early stage of a skyscape spreading across it. The clouds are the most challenging and important part of the painting, so I'm trying to go slow to get them right.
The scene is from the studio window, with Sand Island, some of the harbor and the reef runway in the distance. I'm trying to create a successful illusion of deep space with this one. I just hope we can get far enough away from the finished work to appreciate the depth. Maybe I'll hang it in the hallway! That should do the trick.
Have a good day!!
Sincerely,
Gary.

Looking forward to seeing your clouds, Gary :) I know you just posted a nice one with a hummingbird cloud in the sky :) We still have hummingbirds at our feeder and I saw 2 being very territorial this morning!

Thanks Sadami, Sherry, Jennifer Rose (I bet you have some amazing clouds in Scotland!), Lisa. Happy September to you all and hope it's a great month.

you do get really nice clouds here, especially if you are up in the hills :)
