THE EASTER BUNNY COMES ALONG WITH THE PEEPS

I made up a little basket of some goodies for some people who are working with me to keep me healthy.  It was fun to pick and choose the colors, basket. candies...hope they like it.

I included a little painting of peeps I did last year.  I didn't do any peeps painting this year.

Did you ever paint peeps?  The come in a lot of different colors and shapes now, not just
the usual yellow chicks.

My favourite candy is Peeps. I buy a few packages whenever I see them. Right now I have the yellow, purple and blue ones. I missed the watermelon ones. Haven't found them yet.

Oh Rhonda - I bet your friends enjoyed their Easter basket. Love your painting of the peeps. No I never have painted them before but just may have to give it a try. Love your beautiful purple ones. Hope you had a lovely Easter.

Hi Rhonda,
Happy Easter! Happy Peeps! One of Michele's all-time favorites. Again, this year, a box of those cuties appeared in our home.
Very nice gift for your "helpers". I'm sure they'll love and appreciate it.
Hope you and Jerry are having a nice weekend.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Sweetie likes them and he puts them in the microwave to blow them up a bit and eat them - I don't eat them and, if I did, would prefer them when they are stale :) I've never seen watermelon ones but Sweetie got some blue raspberry ones in his Easter basket.

Debbie, they seemed pleased - peeps are easy to paint and so many colors now!

Happy Easter to you and Michele, Gary!

Sherry, yes, I wish they would make peeps in even more shapes! Just think of the painting possibilities! ha ha

EM, thanks :)

Thank you, Arti. I am enjoying your latest paintings!

Lorraine, Peeps are chick and bunny shaped sugar candies that are marshmallow-ish so they are soft at first and then get stale and harder. A sugar rush that you either love or hate - they make great subjects for paintings!! ha ha I wonder if Peeps is a US thing? I'll have to check and see if other countries have them.

I LOVE your peeps. Especially those purple ones. Won't eat them, but these are certainly eye candy.
