MOVING BACK TO THE LARGE DRAWING

I started this a long time ago and got burned out - I don't do detailed, complicated drawing for fun!  But I did go back to the middle object in watercolor pencil and water...

For those who don't remember when I began this, it is from a series of photos and Scanning Electron Microscope views of a small brittle star.  All but the center will be in graphite and charcoal.

This looks like it is going to be interesting! Was this the piece you were doing for your husband?

I do remember this project, a challenge to do such microscopic detail but looking good - don't burn yourself out!

Thanks, Sherry, yes, this is the piece I started months ago!!! I have to be in a certain mood to get into dry media, I guess.

Thanks, EM. I might get it done in another few months! ha ha

Cathy, thanks. I'll keep on going as I get the urge.

Dear Rhonda - sometimes it is fun to let a piece sit for a bit and then with fresh eyes we see different opportunities. Will be looking forward to seeing it finished.

It has helped to let this one sit for a while, Debbie :)
