ART SUPPLIES FOR SPRING

Using my birthday gift cards from Dick Blick and Cheap Joe's, I ordered some new art supplies.

This should get me started on new and interesting fun things this spring or before.  The snow is finally melting with temperatures above 32F for more than two days in a row = YAY!

New supplies always inspire me at first...then I freeze! LoL Much of our snow has melted here at last too. We hit 59 yesterday by me! My huge 6+ foot pile that an across the street neighbor plowed up into my yard (and we have vacant lot next door) has melted down to about 3.5 feet.

There is so much out there to try, Lorraine, sometimes I get too scattered!!

Deb, most of these are related to printmaking without a printing machine, so I can do that - and even incorporate that into watercolors or fluid acrylics or...see = so many options!!!

Sherry, yes, sometimes you freeze and I haven't begun with these yet - but I will and know what I want to do when I start :) The thing about printmaking using just a plexi-sheet or a Gelli sheet, is the surprise that comes at times you could make no other way. I want to use the printmaking stuff for cards and small prints, nothing big. Just playing and having fun with color and shapes.

EM, there is a lot!! I have a great family who know what I want :) No clothes for me - just art cards!!

Wow - art supplies often are such a trigger to a new creative spark. Looks like you have lots of sparks waiting. Enjoy my friend. Hugs
