I didn't photograph each step of this one, but continued it a la Jane Davies video, and tried to get something pleasing. Just playing with abstraction with a lot of adding and subtracting of paint until it looked finished.
On a half sheet of Arches 140# coldpress watercolor paper.

Love the title, Rhonda! I've tried abstractions but always feel lost ... I think your title really makes the painting jell!
Abstract work is such pleasure as the outcome is rarely known and the path so interesting getting there.
Experimentation on small pieces give lots of room for trying out colours and marks. Perhaps you've found your niche?

I'm also in love with abstract art, but find it unusually challenging to make.
I think you're on to something here! My favorite thing is the title, along with the hint of it, without too much definition.
That is tough to achieve, in my forever humble opinion.

Just got an order of TerraSkin "paper" last week and have yet to get into that - but I will and think it will probably lend itself to abstracts (but not scraping, which would be better on paper or board).
I love the work. There is a lot of force and movement. Very beautiful and intriguing.
