SKETCHBIRDS

Using the book, The Laws Guide to Drawing Birds, by John Muir Laws, I am copying some work there and reading/studying the good information included about the anatomy of birds.

Here are a few sketchbirds I've done so far...going slowly through the book and reading/studying a bit each day.

You draw beautifully, Rhonda!

This is the best book out there on the subject though of course, working in the field is the best teacher of all!

Thanks, Sherry, but I have much to learn!!

E.M., I am enjoying the book, slowing going through and sketching what he's got in the book. I don't work outside but have tons of photo references - and birds outside my window that catch my eye - enough to last a lifetime!

Nice sketches, Rhonda.
That is a great book! He has some videos online too; you can find them by googling him.
