REWORKING OR THROWING AWAY

One of these reworked paintings is worth saving, one is not.  So I will probably wash off the paint or gesso over the paper and play with it (or let the granddaughters play with it when they come for an art day:
Alaina today, and
Jocelyn on Wednesday!)

With class on Tuesday, that makes for a very artful start to the week :)

Hope your week is also artful and creative.

Ah Rhonda - in my eyes both of these are wonderful...hope you don't throw either one away. Please enjoy your time with your granddaughters. Have a wonderful week. Thank you so much too for stopping by to visit my garden.

I'm with Debbie. Sounds like a very artful week indeed! Wish I could take one of your classes; sounds like you are very inventive with your teaching and I love that!!

Thanks, Debbie, Sherry and Carol :) You are too kind - even I know that finch looks like a buzzard! ha ha

I don't believe in getting rid of works that I think aren't successful unless I have a record (usually a photograph) with notes that remind me how I felt about it. Having said that these are worth keeping.

Mick, probably a good idea, but some things just don't suit me. Of course, in a few months, when I've forgotten about it and come across it again, it may be worth something to me - strange how the closeness of something colors our feelings about a piece!
