OVERRUN WITH ROSEATES!

My art room is overrun with roseate spoonbills - drawings and paintings of various ones from photo references.  There's been a lot of planning in this outcome, which I hope means the final thing will just paint itself :)

I have drawn the larger painting - a full sheet (22 x 30 inches) size - and put on the masking fluid.  Now waiting to do the background when that dries.

Well done Rhonda, you are working hard towards your vision. Put aside fear and simply paint it is the way forward. I am so looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Oh my goodness Rhonda. Your room is filled with birds! (Don't tell Alfred Hitchcock! LOL)

They look great all together. I love the bright pink.

I tend to call it an 'art room' rather than studio too. I wonder why? Well, I know why I do it...Anywho, I love seeing all your spoonbills together! Look at that magical wonderful color!!

Thanks, Caroline, It may be a few days - going to soccer matches (our granddaughter has made it into the finals) is taking some time. Can't believe they play back-to-back matches with just 1.5 hours in between.

Yes, Carol, so many birds in that room!! ha ha

Sherry, I think it's too small and dinky to be called a studio - maybe if I had a window? ha ha
