That background is breathtaking! I'm looking forward to seeing this piece finished.
Love the name of this one, too funny!
Cobalt teal is such a beautiful color, looking forward to seeing the next stage Rhonda.
So, just masking tape? No frisket, no film, no other tool, just plain old masking (or artists) tape? I'm beginning to think I'll need to try this. Although I know I'll have to make my background decisions much sooner. I look forward to watching this develop.
Another great title! (Meanwhile I limp lazily along with "Daffodils" and such!)
Love the graduated wash here, Rhonda. Can't wait to see this guy finished!!
Wow the wash is really lovely. Can' t wait to see the crow finished. I will be checking in again soon.
Thanks, Katherine, Caroline, Deb (glad you liked the title - just thought of the yoga pose and there it was!), Sherry and Laura (um, doesn't look like limping along with all the painting you've been doing lately!).Katherine, just artist tape (I like Cheap Joe's brand but masking tape would work) over the main part and the little bits that didn't get covered with the artist tape then got masking fluid over them = the edges and little spots. Let it dry completely and do the bg wash.
