THE ROBINS HAVE ARRIVED

No painting of robins yet, but driving home yesterday afternoon, I saw 9 robins in the neighborhood - so spring must be just around the corner.

Dealing with sinus or allergy issues right now so not feeling like painting: pain and pressure in my head makes me just want to knock myself out and sleep until I feel better.  I sure hope it's not a sign of a rough spring to come and more trips to the allergist.  If I had a whole month without a headache (migraine, sinus or tension), it would be a real gift.

Enough of that - time to think about spring flowers and robins and the chickadees singing and flitting around the feeders :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

I too have been getting lots of headaches but with stress and not taking my amitryptiline daily (no insurance so trying to space out what I have left), I guess it is to be expected. Haven't noticed robins yet, and still some patches of snow in places, but mostly brown and ugly right now. Did see the squirrels out and playing though...

OH my...the robins are back to you. They often flock here in central Florida on their way to you, but this year we had a flock of Cedar Waxwings instead! They were amazing! They strip the berries off our holly bushes each spring! I used to live in se WI and our robins would be back March 21 almost like clockwork, snow or no snow. I know you are around Cincinnati area so much the same time table. I pray that all that snow melts slowly now and incidentally, spring in FL has been hugely full of pollen and I have been pretty miserable with the headaches!

Oh, I do hope this spring isn't a pollen filled misery!! I'll take what I can to stop the pain because sinus pain and pressure is no fun at all - but the robins and chickadees and squirrels are in abundance right now - as are the cardinals.
Do you get the magazine, Birds and Blooms, Sherry or Ginny - I love seeing the photos and the neat ideas for planters, gardening, birdhouses, etc. in there. Sorry about your headaches, Sherry and Ginny :( Not fun!!!

Sinus pain is the worst; I'm susceptible myself, and so I sympathize, and hope you're feeling better.
Numerous robins here ... so many more than I've ever seen before.

Thanks, Laura. I don't think this is going away on its own. Guess I have to get going and try to get a doctor's appt :( Hate going to the doctor.
