Yes, folks, another winter storm is on it's way. We are supposed to get icy conditions (up to 1 inch of ice when all is said and done) - and once that is laid down nicely, Mother Nature is going to frost is all up with about 3 inches of snow. Schools are closing early and I hope businesses have the sense to do the same. Fortunately, I get to stay inside and safe. Perhaps paint something.
Had watercolor class for the first time in weeks today! It felt strange being back in teaching mode but it was good to be back, too.
We had to cancel the GCWS meeting and Carol Carter's trip over to give the guest artist talk - just too nasty and scary when listening to all the weather predictors. But Carol and I have rescheduled for June so the watercolor society will get to see her then for a one-day talk and showing of her beautiful paintings.

Tis the winter for snow it seems. Here too. We're forecast for a big storm with up to 25cm of snow overnight. Yuck.
I wouldn't care if I didn't have to go out and drive in it!

The expected storm here didn't end up being too bad; not nearly as much snow as predicted. I was kind of hoping for a rare snow day at work myself. Hopefully you will fare well through this next one, Rhonda. I'm in heaven with the snow; I just love it!
Well, our power did not fail, Mary, but we have about 1/2 inch of ice over everything and all the schools are closed, businesses opening late, etc. Major roads hit hard by crews so not too bad but residential roads look tricky per the news. I can stay in today - unless the sun comes out a bit and I get out with the camera to take some pics of the icy covered trees, etc.

Jeanette, I imagine your area is snow-covered all winter; we got ice this time but no power loss.
Sherry, we got ice and snow and ice - walked out to the bird feeders and I didn't sink down into the snow and ice (about 3 inches total) unless I really stomped my feet - pretty thick and crusty. They just showed boys skiing and snowboarding down a Cincinnati street that wasn't cleaned at all!
