WINTER MAKES ME BLUE

Another frosty, cold, snow-predicted day :(  Winter makes me blue (and not in a good, colorful way).  I'm watching the Australian Open and finding new admiration for the women, especially, who look like they are about to fall over on the court - and have a crying jag - but keep toughing it out in 107F heat!  Unbelievable!  But what else can they do?  The match between Sharapova and Knapp was one of the best for sheer determination to not quit until the end!

Slammin' Sammy Sosur may have a big advantage, being a native Australian.  Let's hope she fights the good fight.
And Roger is still in it :)  I know, I'm still dreaming of another major title but I'm not alone!  ha ha

Wherever you are, stay safe and regulate that temperature!  Heat up or cool down as best you can...

Dear Rhonda - I can understand about winter because like you I am ready for warm sunny days. In the meantime lets paint my friend and hopefully the blues will go away. Have a great day.

Thanks, Debbie :) I think it's just stress - being retired, I normally don't have to get out in the weather if I don't want to but had to go out yesterday and coming home around a corner lost control of the car and was sliding all over the road - luckily, wasn't going fast and didn't slam on the breaks or panic but gosh, that was a ride!! Then had to go out again today. The snow that was supposed to be over by now it coming down steadily and heavily right now so I wouldn't be surprised with another inch by nightfall. Winter!! Some people love it but I'm not one of them. And I feel for those who have to drive home in rush hour in this stuff.
