EXPERIMENTATION 2

I think this one is finished.

Acrylic ink + Watercolor on
half sheet 140# cold press Fabriano
watercolor paper

Land and Sea No. 1

Need to drive up to Evergreen and pick up my painting from the show.
No sale this time.  While I'm doing that, Sweetie is in charge of the workers who are coming to put down new carpet this morning.  It's going to look great!!!

Great experimentation. I love the contrast between the sharp edges of the lines on the left, and the very soft colours and shapes in the rest of the painting.

I find this painting interresting. Like the figures standing there and the combination of orange and violett. Very nice!

Rhonda - it looks like it is finished and finished well. Love that color turquoise in the hills. New carpet - how fun! Take care and have a great day.

Thanks, Vandy. I guess everyone sees people but I definitely didn't intend for them to show up - sometimes they just do! ha ha

Catharijna, thanks very much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment.

Debbie, done with this and may try more of this type of thing - just bringing something out of pours and colors. Although I might do better with a little pre-planning.

There is almost a surreal feel to this piece for me. Love that tree form on the left.

I really like this painting. You did a great job.

Thanks, Carol. I never expect to do anything well in a workshop, due to the new learning of techniques or styles of the artist presenting.

Oops, Carol! I'm answering about the workshop to this experiment which was NOT done in a workshop! I need my morning coffee before beginning to answer blog comments! ha ha
