SHINY STILL LIFE PAINTINGS

My Tuesday and Wednesday classes are working on the shiny still life set-up.

I did 3 versions.
I didn't like the first version but worked on it a bit more Wednesday.

I didn't like the second version but worked on it a bit more Wednesday.

I started a third version - a better composition, I think.
But have a few miles to go before this one is finished.

Rhonda - I really like the use of your three primary colors in the first composition. I think your third is going to be great...like the fact that you changed the colors around in the second. As always I so enjoy seeing your work. Take care and have a wonderful day.

Thanks, Debbie. I think the third has potential - now to just get back to it a little bit at a time. And I have some other things on the back burner that I want to start for me!

Rhonda I am very keen on the third painting, that mug of coffee looks really real! nice composition and watercolor washes.

Love the shine on your china

Thanks, Caroline, Sherry and Lorraine! I did get the shine on the pot but wasn't happy with the composition until I changed it. I will, hopefully, get some more done on it and other things this long weekend.

I love the shapes of the objects--they have personality.
I like still lives (period) and admire how you have been sticking with this one: you will be rewarded!

Thanks, Laura. I hope I can keep my interest up on this last one!
