WORK AROUND A BLOGGER GREMLIN

This is just a test to see if I can upload photos using Google Chrome on my laptop....

Yes, I can!  (I didn't think it worked when I tried it before, but it was my mistake - I was waiting for another screen to come up before putting in my photo info.)

So, it does work.  Just means I either have to install Chrome on the desktop
or I have to move photos from the desktop to the laptop more often.
But it does work (and I've read that switching from HTML to Compose often causes problems, too, so I don't want to keep doing that on the desktop and then create other problems).

This is an old photo I have on my laptop - but we are having a wet end-of-week with mixed showers and thunderstorms, along with freakishly warm weather (65F in January ?!?) so it works as a current photo for several wet and stormy days which began Wednesday.

Pretty sky! We were supposed to hit 60 today as well but I don't know if we did. We've had barely a brushing of snow this winter and what did fall was gone upon daylight.

Thanks to a prior post of yours, I can use HTML for the photos. However, that's not my only problem - keep getting bumped off the internet. Hubby read something about sunspots, so maybe that's the problem. I get a minute here and there and maybe 20 min. or more before I can get back on for a few minutes - very annoying!

Carol, read my post of a few days back about this or go to the Blogger help forum where they give you a work-around if you are using Interet Explorer. If you are using Chrome or Firefox, you should be ok.
Thanks, Celeste and Sherry.
Deb, not sure why you are getting bumped off. There is also a malware problem when using Java. You might want to disable Java on your computers for now - Google "How do I disable Java" and you should find plenty of information. I disabled it from all my computers today - they say you won't even miss it and, in fact, it made my laptop (Windows 7) faster.

Hi Rhonda, This is a great photo, it's been warm here, too (GA) and rainy.

Thanks, Jane. A typical stormy sky when the weather is warmer than usual, I guess. Still raining here but at least they are no longer predicting snow for tonight :)

This sky is a painting on its own! I'm glad you have find a way to fight the computerproblems!
Chrome is also nice to work with, just give it a chance:)

Chrome is working well on the laptop - it's just I'm more familiar with the desktop setup and forget to download my pictures to the laptop! ha ha Trying to teach an old dog some new tricks - or just new habits, I guess.
