POSTCARDS AND BOOKMARKS FROM THE GRANDS

Here are some of the cards and bookmarks made by the grandgirls - each girl has her own unique look with J liking the addition of words to her pieces using paint pens and markers.

(J made a few more but I didn't get a photo of them before she left Sunday afternoon.)

A did these 2 pieces.  She also painted a watercolor scorpion but I didn't get a photo of that before she went home.  She loves painting in watercolors and is doing a good job.
Blogger still acting up - wonder if they will ever figure out what is wrong?  I tried to upload from my laptop (which had Google Chrome on it) but it still wouldn't work unless I went into HTML to upload and then back to Compose to see the post and add the words.  Oh, well, it works - just not as easily as it used to work.

I know that it is rewarding to be able to share the love and enjoyment of art with your grandgirls. Great job, all of them!

All the postcards look so good and it looks like you really had a lot of fun. I love looking at a group of work made on the same theme with the same materials and seeing how different the interpretations can be.

These are all just gorgeous, Rhonda. I love your second photo in post below (my favorite) and I love the left (bottom left for the top photo in this post) of the work J and A did. I'll bet they had a blast with you!!

Hi, Rhonda,
The bookmarks are lovely. BTW, How is your blogger? I hope Google will help you and your blog!
Best wishes, Sadami

Vicki, I was so pleased that Jocelyn really got involved and wanted to keep making more! She often doesn't want to paint as long as Alaina does so it was fun to see her so enthusiastic - and so creative!
Thanks, Kathryn, Lisa, Sherry, Carol and Sadami! We had a blast! Wish we could have an art day every week.
Sadami, I haven't checked today but Blogger was still broken yesterday when I found a work-around on the help forum. Hope they fix it this week!

Dear Rhonda - I can see talent runs in the family - you must be so proud of those grandchildren. Thanks for sharing these lovely works of art.

They are both wonderfully talented and athletic and smart - what more can you ask for? ha ha But they are actually Jerry's grands, mine as step-mother to his daughter, Moe - but I'm claiming them, too!
