CAW GIRL - ALMOST FINISHED

Finished except for her shadow (and the shadow of the crow).
Full sheet (30w x 22h) Arches 140# paper.
Poured the first few layers and then used those same colors (plus a few more) to darken and shape the girl and the crow.

Awesome. Careful with the shadows. It is great as is.

This is such an unique concept, I love the abstract background and painterly realistic girl and crow. I am sure you will finish this off perfectly with the correct shadows and it will be show-ready.

Thanks, Maggie, Sherry, Jane, Marilyn and Susan. I put in that shadow and now figure it's done :) Not sure it's show-worthy. I may have to let it sit for a while and see how I feel about future paintings. I will have to have something to try to get into the next juried show - end of May due date so I have some time.
