TAKING ANOTHER LOOK

Nothing new to share - yet - but I did pull out some older pieces and take another look.  What I found missing in them all was color and vibrancy.  No kick.  Dulled and timid color.  So I amped up the color in these - just for fun.

Love these colours! Lots of exciting oooomph to them. The greens and blues are delicious and I really like the composition in that one.

Thanks, Lisa, Christiane and Sherry. I think the pelicans are the winners in these three :)

I am a great believer in updating old stuff...somehow. And often it turns out quite well, like here :-) And this answer goes for your latest post, too.

Thanks so much, Jane :) Perhaps those paintings I throw away every new year should be covered in gesso and recreated :)

Thank you, Jane. I think the pelicans were the most favored by others who commented.
