Thanks, Joan. I'll tell him :) This red-tailed hawk has all the pigment out of his feathers but no red eyes like a true albino - hence the leuconist identification. Apparentl, there are many birds seen like this with all white plummage or just white patches - I know they have white ravens on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
