NAUTILUS

The swirls of the nautilus can mean the whirling dervish that is life.  Curving onto and around itself, the line molds towards a center.   Where does it start and where does it end?

This is a small study for a larger painting.
I still need to go in with darks to bring out the lights and the glow.

Wundervolle Natur-Malerei. Das Aquarell ist sehr schön.

I wish we had these on the eastern shores. Never have seen them. Anxious to see where you take this one. Thanks!

Rhonda, This is wonderful! What a great study! Are you doing a series? I think it's begging you to do one!

Thanks so much, Christiane, Kerstin, Hallie and Linda. Dee, thanks, but I don't think it will be a series.

This one might look good with the FA very vibrant colors - I really like your study!

Thanks, Deb, I might try some fluid acrylics on this one - need to dig those out (I actually cleaned up my art room and now everything isn't under my feet).
