FOREGROUND FOR JUST THE TWO OF US

Well, I decided to go with the Apricot (American Journey) for the foreground.  And then I flipped some colors on it using the pink and blue of the peeps.  Then put in the shadows.

It's done.

On Twinrocker 140# cold press watercolor paper, 7" x 7"

A lovely wash of pink and blue Rhonda! I think you did well with the background choice... You know, they remind me of a salt and pepper set my mother had many years ago!

Thanks, Debbie. They do kinda look like a salt and pepper set :)

Thanks, Deb! I'm kinda on a roll with the peeps - maybe one more and I'll be finished with them.

This turned out beautifully. Love those peeps - just not to eat. :)

Nick, you are too kind. I look at your work and think - what's the use - but charming and perfect is not too shabby.

Thanks so much, Jeanette and Carol (have to laugh at how much you hate these things - just little sugared marshmallow chicks that want to be loved! ha ha) I think it's a texture thing with a lot of people.

Ooooo, this piece is fun and I love the color combos. Rob works with a lady that's addicted to 'peeps' - she's in her 80's and I swear her main food staple is sugar! I know she'd love these, too!

Dear Rhonda,
Very cute! ...I can't eat them SERIOUSLY.
Cheers, Sadami

Pam, thanks! It's probably all those preservatives that have kept her alive in her 80's so I wouldn't change anything now! ha ha

Sadami, you are not missing anything - just sugared air :) I'm sure you eat healthier than that.
