Here's where they stand - or perch - right now.  More to do today.

Rhonda, this painting is looking great! I hope your headache is gone or at least subsided.

Your ravens are looking great, Rhonda.
I hope that your migraine is gone.

You love ravens and it shows, all your crow pieces are really interesting.
You made me remember a conversation in Skellig and had to go look for it to share it with you:
"Do you like birds?" she said, and she looked at me like something I'd done had made her cross.
"I don't know," I said.
"Typical. Do you like drawing?"
"Sometimes."
"Drawing makes you look at the world more closely. It helps you to see what you are looking at more clearly. Did you know that?"
I said nothing.
"What color's a blackbird?" she said.
"Black."
"Typical!"
She swung round into the garden.

Thanks, Jane, Christiane and Teresa. I'm working a bit more on them today - headache is gone and I'm hoping it doesn't return for a while. I don't know that story, Teresa, is the book called Skellig? Anyone who thinks black is black isn't an artist, eh?

I'm loving these ravens, Rhonda! Great colors. I hope your migraine is as gone as 2010, but just to be safe I'm typing in a whisper anyway.
