JUST A FEW SKETCHES

Nothing inspiring me to paint right now so I return to doing sketches.

Some of these are mine, some started out as copies of some of the work in the Egon Schiele book.  You'll know which are which, I think (hint: I don't think Egon ever drew or painted lemurs).

Hi Rhonda, I like your lemurs! The graceful, intertwining curves are so much fun! Your sketches are wonderful!

Lovely portrait Rhonda. I think at times when we are tired or not inspired in the direction of working with colour that drawing is a wonderful way of expression.

Happy Birthday to you! Hope it is as special as you are.

So interesting to see your sketches. And great idea to copy masters.

Thanks so much, Peggy, Caroline, Irina and Ann for the comments on the sketching. I do return to it when I'm not in the mood for color but just want line and shading.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Sandy, Ann and Jane. Jane, Sandy probably has it on a card in her desk (she kept track of all her students' birthdays!) and Ann knows because we have been online friends for years. I enjoyed the lemurs, too - from a zoo trip years ago.
