ANOTHER RECOGNITION

Another online design group has included my blog in a list of some outstanding blogs about art.  Now, if I get another one of these I'll have to start seriously considering that I'm pretty good!

(I had a link here but it's been discontinued so no more awards from onlinegraphicdesigndegree.  I was asked to remove the link September 2012, so I did.)

Several of my watercolor/blogger friend and artists who I follow regularly have been included in this list - like Nicholas Simmons, Kathy Nesseth, Susan Roper, Carol Carter, Brent Perkins, and Suzanne McDermott.

I'm still not sure how we get on these things and why it's associated with design, but I'll accept the honor and just smile.

I'll wait for that third one before I start feeling much more important!

I hope something about your day makes you smile today.

On this rainy, gray day - your blog post made me smile! (Along with my new hair do and my daughter's visit today!)
Now - if you get more of these recognitions we will have to enlarge all of the doorways or your head won't fit thru! (Also buy you some new hats to fit!!!) LOL.

Jane, thanks so much :)

Irina, an exhibition? Hmmm...that would mean I'd have to mat and frame paintings! Maybe I'll have to think about this someday in 2011? I don't think anything can change my personality - you all are stuck with it as is! ha ha

Deb, the hats are ordered - with earflaps to keep my ears warm this winter :) ha ha New hair styles always make a girl feel good!!!

Good for you! We all need recognition from our peers and well deserved too.

Yes, get exhibiting! Find a grant to get that stuff framed and show it to the world.

I think this is just super! Congratulations. I agree - this is a great blog.

Thanks, Barb and Jeanette! Jeanette, you have a good idea - I will have to search and see what I can find about grants and help with shows.

Well done - what a confidence booster!

Thanks, Gillian! Two in a row was quite a surprise for me.

You are totally rockin' the awards lately, and it's well deserved! Those other artists are also in very good company - namely you! Please remember us little people when you get your third award. :-P

Lisa, you made me laugh today! There are no little people - well, my step-daughters are little people because they are both under 5 ft. tall but other than them...maybe that's not what you meant? ha ha Have a great day! Dance between the snowflakes.

Pam, I'm not sure how they found me but glad they did.
