LUCKY NUMBERS WIP 3

A bit more work, bringing in the background area and merging it with the faces a bit.  So, at this stage I need to think about how dark I want to go with the background (darker than it is) and how light I want to keep the skintones...

I think you may want to go much darker in some areas which will then lighten up other areas. Lookin' good!

Interesting background shapes coming along on your WIP. Took your link to Antonio - love his style - and left an English message. Hope he can read it.

Yes, it's about halfway done right now, Carol. And that background will be darker with additions of the numbers in the white boxes. I think I may do that before turning to the skintones again.

Joan, I hope I can do this one well. I'm glad you like Antonio's work - isn't he amazing. And isn't the internet a fabulous thing when it works well - to open new avenues for us to explore!

Good idea to get the background where you want it, then you can judge the values and tones on the faces. You have a flair for tackling tough subjects beautifully, I wouldn't have the courage to do one portrait, you take on many! I bow to your artistic skills and persistence.

Lisa, don't give me too much credit yet :) Maybe after it's done and it's well done, then you can give a little bow :)
