JEALOUSY - CHANGES MADE

This one underwent some reworking and I think it's a better painting now. I enjoyed doing the crosshatching of the color in the sky. And yes, that crow's eye is green - I've never seen a crow with a green eye and probably will never see one but I liked the idea of greens and jealousy mingling.

Rhonda, I prefer this version. There is more tension between the two subjects now that there is nothing between them. I love your sky!

Hi Rhonda, I like that you're still in your crow period and I liked this painting very much. I think the green eye works perfectly.

Lots of reworking! I like the green eye (jealously is the green eyed monster after all!).

This has all the vibrancy of an oil - that sky is masterful. Yep - a green eye - why not indeed. The perfect touch. x

Thanks, Christiane, Cindi, Carol, Deb and Gillian, for the comments on this one. Glad you like this version more - I do, too. Didn't care for that plant in the middle and unsure why I put it there in the first place. This being on yupo, I could just lift it out without problems.

Love the green eye, the textures you achieved in the sky and the facial expressions.
