HEART CARD TO GET WELL

No painting or even doodling for almost a week. But I did create this card for my sweetie to give to him in the hospital. It's watercolor and collage bits and pieces.

The top lacey doily bit hangs over the paper on the top right edge.
We got another 4-5 inches of wet snow which I shoveled out of the driveway in front and behind my car twice already - just in case I need to get out. Then the snow plow shoveled me right back in at the top of the drive, as usual. I think it's time for chocolate...
I am enjoying stress relief by catching up on all my favorite blogs.

I love your card, Rhonda--it's so light and pleasing. I'm sure it will lift your husband's heart!
You are smart to get out there and shovel right away: I waited and now the snow is packed and I have hack away at it with a regular shovel to break it into liftable chunks!
That wet snow is so heavy though; please be careful!!

What a nice card for your husband. All my best to both of you.

I had a dove dark chocolate today. When I unwrapped it, the quote on the wrapper said "The only thing stronger than chocolate is hope".

What a pretty card for your Sweetie. I hope all is well with him.
We're getting more snow too. When will this winter ever end? Stay warm. x

Take it easy with the shoveling, but probably a good idea to do it a little at a time - or after each snowfall of 4" or more (your choice!) We went out yesterday evening, all was fine, but it's a different story today! Tell Jerry I said "hi" and hope he's feeling stronger each day. (My word verification is "demaster" - now I want to know - "de master of wut"!!!)

Good Morning Rhonda. Good to hear Jerry is doing better. Hope you take it as easy as you can with the snow shoveling. Don't want you laid up. I bet Jerry was tickled with his card.

Jerry will be feeling well and truly loved with that card - warm (very warm - I'm sweating here in a muggy study!) wishes to you both in the hospital and the snow, hope things look up very soon.

Thanks so much, Laura :) I waited to try to get his car off the street from where it was plowed in and now it's ice under the snow :(
Thanks Christiane and Pam - Pam, I told the folks at the hospital Starbucks that I was living on Starbucks and hope! Some Dove dark chocolate would have fit right in :)
Thanks, Gillian (I am soooo tired of this snow already and more to come Sunday) and lilasvb (I'll definitely check out your site when I have more time) - I appreciate your stopping by and commenting.
Thanks so much, Deb, Ann and Cathy :) It means so much to know you all are out there, waiting for postings and paintings. Soon. I keep telling myself, "soon."
