CROW 2 CROW + THEIR COMMITMENT TO BLACK

I did a bit more painting on Crow 2 Crow. It's as done as it's going to get without going too much and overworking it.

Then I worked a bit more on Their Commitment to Black.

I still have to remove the misket from the crows and see where this one takes me from here.

All of the crow paintings (so far) are 1/2 sheet size.
The snow is melting....!!!! I can see parts of the ground.

You took my suggestion! I like them both a lot!
Do not stand under the eaves today - all day I've been hearing "shhhhhploooooooosh" and a giant wad of snow and sharp ice plops into the side yard - wouldn't want to be under it when it fell!

A great finish for Crow2Crow! I love what you added to the top portion.

I like how you merged the upper blue shape to the rest of the painting through the tree Rhonda, it's looking good, and I'm curious to see where They Commitment to Black heads you, what you're doing with shapes is really interesting

Deb, you sometimes do have good suggestions! ha ha Our icicles were knocked off a couple of days ago by me leaning out an open window on the 2nd floor and hitting them with a broom - very satisfactory feeling!
Thanks, Gillian, Christiane, and Teresa. I'm calling this one done now and will finish the black crows next.

Your pursuit of a specific theme is working out very well. I liked where these were going and how you manuevered thoughtfully as you worked on them. Congrats and keep it up!

Nicely done, Rhonda! I love how you arched the blue splatter at the top, and the extension of the tree limbs really works. Bravo!

Rhonda, I have just awarded you the Sunshine Award because I admire your art so much.
Please come to my site when you can to see the list of the other recipients.

I know that you are a super-busy lady and I don't want to add to your busy schedule... so feel free to pass the award to others as informally as in your thoughts :-)

Thanks, Sandy, I've been wondering what you're up to lately - enjoying your snow pics!
Thanks, Pam, glad you like that - it was one of those happy accidents.
Christiane, thanks so much for the sunshine! I can use it :) I'll give this some thought and send it on to a few bloggers...I think many of the ones I'd choose have been chosen and I know some bloggers don't accept the awards but I always think of them as an extra perk (not extra work).

Crow 2 Crow looks great but Their Commitment to Black is still my favourite. Beautiful series, Rhonda! Very unique and interesting. If your snow is melting, would you like more? I could send you some .....

Deb, don't you dare pack up any of that Canadian snow and send it to me!!! I thought we were friends??
Seriously, we are due to get another couple of inches tonight and tomorrow - just in time to cause problems for Jerry's Science Fair people coming from all over Kentucky! What a month!
