PHOTO/ART JOURNALING, ART SHOW OF A FRIEND, AND DRAWING CLASS BEGINS

I've been working a bit on the minutes from Wednesday's watercolor society meeting. And printing out some photos for my online photo-art journaling class taught by LK Ludwig of The Poetic Eye. It's not been as simple as I thought as you have to have a quiet mind to get into this and maybe my mind hasn't been as quiet as it should be this week. Continues through the month of October and that will be over so soon so I have to get busy and into this more completely.

Tomorrow I'm going to see Marilyn Bishop's art show at Caribou Coffee Shop at the Anderson Town Center on Beechmont. I'll view some good art (Marilyn has a lot of different and very interesting techniques in her bag of art tools) and share a cup of java with her as she opens the show. Plus there is one particular painting I have to buy...have to...it's calling to me!

I'm also going to Bowman's Framing with my painting for the Viewpoint show and will get that on it's way to being matted and framed and ready for the first week in November.

And Saturday begins my first Figure Drawing class through Manifest Gallery at the Essex!! Got to get my materials ready: it's been a long time since I had a drawing class and not sure what I should take.

My! what a busy girl Rhonda. All sounds most interesting. Good luck with returning to life drawing, which is something I am planning since my weekly venue came to an end some while back.
