ANOTHER LITTLE ART CARD

I painted this one a few days back. No ink, just inktense pencils and then brushed with a damp brush to blend a bit.

Since I'm going to be busy today (watercolor society all morning into the afternoon and then out to a late lunch/early dinner to celebrate an anniversary - our 14th!), this is all you get today.

Yep, we've been married 14 years, been together 15 years and are still together after the house painting fiasco so I guess we're still going strong :) He forgives me a lot of things, although you wouldn't guess that from this photo I took of him trying to read...

Ah, he's such a sweetie, I think I'll keep him another 14 :)
Thanks, Laura.
Teresa, glad you like my little snail (it's so small, it's hard to see on the little card). Thanks for the anniversary wishes. We did have a wonderful day.

Rhonda...On the eve of our 39th (!!!) anniversary, I applaud your 14th (or whatever anniversary) since that is such a significant event to have anniversaries anymore! I know how difficult it can be; but how easy also, to achieve togetherness, willingly, after however many years. I am so happy to both be on this planet, and happily together after 39 years that I feel triumphant!

Happy anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Susan!!! Thirty-nine years is quite an accomplishment these days. Hope you do something fun and romantic :)
