I'm totally out of the loop on this moleskine business, and I'm seeing the word everywhere, even in my sleep. Stop the madness! Is it some new hippie word for sketchbook??? lol

LOL! Nick, you out of the loop - how is that possible? Moleskine is a special special sketchbook - very expensive and not that good for watercolor unless you do pale, not very juicy washes - but, of course, everyone has to have one to be part of the moleskINe crowd. I bought one - don't worry, you aren't missing anything except it's small enough to fit in your bag and carry with you on planes, trains and automobiles! I much prefer my Exacompta sketchbook which has great tooth and texture and takes a good watercolor as well as charcoal and graphite and everything else. Perhaps it is the Italian way of saying it: Mow (like mow your lawn), lei (like a Hawaiian lei around your neck) skeeen (like Sophia Loren would say skin), and eh (like the end of all Canadian sentences. So - say it with me:
Mo le skin e (pretty, no?)

Joan, I feel like since it's sitting there on the coffee table looking at me, I should doodle now and again :)
