Moley Doodle #9 + Back to Painting

I like the simplicity of this one without color - just a blue inkpen.

And yesterday, I got back to my little art room and worked on Trickle Down. I still need a darker background color mix in the upper part of the painting fading down to the bottom, I think. Or some places that are going to be very dark to bring out the more pale colors here and there.

Hi Rhonda ,I love the colors on the flowers, looks like a yellowy green and pinky coral? The backround really compliments it. will you paint moley doodle?

The dark scallop shape on the moley makes it look very 3-dimensional, like that could be lifted up like a flap and there is something under there.

Thanks, Cathy, on the flowers. I'm not loving the bg anymore, wish I'd stayed light and with those blossoms and things but what can you do - sometimes you just don't know where you're going. I won't paint this moley - just the pen and ink.
Deb, I'm glad the moley is more 3D now - that is what I am trying for but don't seem to accomplish yet.
