Trickle Down - Out of Control

Well, Trickle Down got out of control and I tried to save it. There are some things that are appealing to me with this that I will use as I start over fresh. But this isn't worth saving, in my opinion.
I forgot my mantra: SLOWLY SLOWLY SLOWLY

Hi Rhonda, You and I are in the same boat, except, I don't see how your flower picture is out of control. I think it's just begun? I'm going to check out the art sites on your blog. Any ideas a purple that doesn't get too opaque. Most of my tubes or red an blue combos just don't sing the way I want them too, they get too flat.

Cathy, if you saw this in person, you'd know it's past it's "save by" date :)
Purples I use are:
Cobalt Violet Deep, Ultramarine Violet (both transparent, granulating and low staining); and Carbazole Violet (medium staining and semi-transparent) whi is a lovely violet that will get deep purple but blend out to a light lilac color. Check out Daniel Smith's online catalog and you can see the colors there.
