My Sister's Portrait - Now It's Mine :)

Since my sister doesn't want the portrait - I'm sure she doesn't - I got to play with it how I wanted so she now has redder hair and a pinker skin and some blues and greens in there, too. I'll be very surprised if she ever asks for it. So it's done now...and it does look like her.

Good job, Rhonda! I can see the family resemblance. As for the redder hair — redheads always look stunning in that forest green.

This looks great now, Rhonda! I will have to consult with you about painting hair that color as that is the color that our little Aubrey's hair is becoming now that she has more of it. I love the use of complementary colors in this one, really is a rich-looking portrait.

Thanks, Sandy, Suzanne and Susan! Yes, our mouths especially are the same and people can tell right away we're sisters. When she was younger, she had these wild crazy copper red hairs throughout her brown hair - she hated them but I thought they were great. I love red hair of all shades.
Susan, speaking of that red hair, I think I began with just Quin Gold and Quin Burnt Orange with a touch of Burnt Umber to tone it down (then when I decided to go more red, I just touched in some Perylene Maroon).
