For a group challenge we were to take a white, black and grey sheet of paper and create a value study of a painting we were going to do. I chose this photo of a blue-tailed skink (or lizard) taken by Maureen (Reni) Jensen. And this is my value study.
Now I just have to get motivated to paint it...when will that happen?

Sure like the blue in your little friend. What size are you going to paint him?
Probably 1/4 sheet, Ann. I do like that blue tail and will play that up more - and have fun with all the texture.
