Figure Started

Here's what I did in about 1 hour this morning. I can see her mouth isn't centered correctly at all but her face is wide like that and I worked a long time trying to get the hand right - it was a bear! I don't think I would have done any better if I'd stayed another hour.


I used nothing but a 2H pencil - I wanted to start light and work in the shadows much later.

Once you get that mouth centred, this is going to look great, Rhonda! That's really a shame that she promptly fell asleep though. Maybe you could crop this to the area you *did* get done and keep it. Hope you let the instructor know why you left early!

Are they supposed to sleep during these modeling sessions? Strange, I can see the difficulties involved with a sleeping model!

I agree about the mouth, but I like the arms and hand, good pose, too.

Thanks, Deb and Susan. Susan, they aren't supposed to sleep during the modelling session but you'd be surprised how many do.
